Getting a wedding invite is so exciting, but not long after the intial joy comes the persistently niggly thought...what am I going to get them as a gift!!! It's a big consideration as you want your gift to be memorable, thoughtful, beautiful and something they'll want to keep. I know we're biased, but I'm going to convince you as to why a photo album makes a perfect wedding gift!
- A wedding album can be as personalised a gift as you want it to be. You could choose one that you think would match their wedding colours, you could opt for one that has similar wording to the wedding invitations, you could go all out and send us a photo of the font they've used on the invitations or you could go for a really simple one ( as in the photo) so you know you can't go wrong. It is quite tempting to go all out with the personalisation and to stuff as many details in as you possibly can but I do think that if you're buying as a wedding gift then in order to not get it wrong, less is probably more.
- You know that they'll use it. I'm sure that the couple will have a professional photographer that will take thousands of photos and make an official glossy album but they'll still need one for all those classics that the guests take on their phones. So often it's the funny behind the scenes ones or the late night ones when the shattered photographer has gone home that are the real crackers. Also, because our albums are made with 480gsm photo board pages then they can also be used for housing the menu, some of the place names, the order of service etc.
- A wedding photo album shows that you have put time and effort into the gift and not just gone to John Lewis. They will know that it has been designed to be unique to them and they'll love you for it. Hopefully aswell it will be one of the gifts that really does last the test of time.
- A wedding album is portable which is actually quite a big consideration. If you are going on the train to the wedding destination then you don't really want to be lugging with you a bird table or a coffee table

Also, and I think our customers would agree with us, the albums looks like they're worth so much more. Which to be honest is ultimately the aim of the game
